This fly is a Parachute version of the Adams dry fly. Parachute style flies ride lower in the surface film allowing them to better imitate emergers and spinners. The parachute design also causes the fly to settle on the surface more gently than conventionally hackled flies making it a great choice in calm water where the fish are easily spooked. The Adams is one of the most popular flies in the world and for good reason - it catches fish! This fly is a must for every fly box.
